Where can I test ride an eBike?

We offer test rides around the globe through our extensive dealer network. Can't find a dealer near you? We strongly recommend you check with dealers before arriving to confirm stock levels, as these can vary from dealer to dealer.  

How do I operate “power assist” mode? 

Your McLaren bike combines available riding modes (power ‘assisted’ and ‘non-assisted’). Although each bike has varying options, we urge you to visit our User Manual & Assembly Guide page for direction on operating your bike. 

Can I ride in the rain? 

Your bike is weather-resistant designed, meaning it can handle light rain. We recommend not riding in torrential rain or deep pools of water, as this opens opportunities for water to enter your battery and motor, causing damage. 

Can I ride off road or on trails?  

Most of our range is best suited for comfortable riding on paths, pavement and tarmac. We do not advise taking your bike off-road. 

Do I have to assemble my bike? 

Your bike is delivered to you mostly assembled. However, there are minor easy-to-follow assembly instructions once your bike arrives. The instructions will be emailed before it arrives and after purchasing your bike. The User Manual & Assembly Guides are accessible from our website. Want to bypass assembling the bike? Assembly can be arranged for an additional fee through our service technician network.

How long till I receive my eBike? 

When is payment required? 

We offer two payment options best suited to your needs.

You can pay the holding deposit of 10% first. The remaining 90% balance will be due once your bike has been built and reserved. Your McLaren is only locked in with full payment, and we may push back allocations to later shipments if you have yet to make the full payment. 

I’ve paid for the bike in full, when can I expect to receive my bike? 

We will provide an approximate time frame for your bike to arrive at your country's regional distribution centre. Once the shipment clears, your bike is collected from our distribution centres and begins its journey to you. However, from time to time, we may experience delays in customs or general freight congestion, which creates a holdup in your delivery. We ensure to keep you updated as and when these occur. 

How can I change my order?

What happens if there is a warranty issue or concern with my eBike? 

We offer comprehensive warranties, accessible service centres and concierge support on all bikes. You can find our warranty list here. To lodge a warranty request, visit our warranty form

What happens if I need to service the bike? 

We have a service centre support network globally and offer a direct concierge service team for any queries. Please contact the Support Team to connect you with the right centre or use our service centre directory

What are the servicing requirements? 

Our McLaren bikes are equipped with low-maintenance elements, including Constantly Variable Transmission hubs and Gates with Carbon belts instead of chains. Outside of standard bicycle maintenance (greasing pedals, checking tyres etc.), we recommend taking your bike to an authorised service support centre every second year or after 15,000kms, whichever comes first.

Orders placed in the USA and internationally have local state or country taxes added to the order pending on the delivery address entered at checkout.
